Hopper Bottom grain storage silos are available in a range of sizes from 10 tonnes to 2,000 tonnes capacity, and are designed with suspended steel hoppers, supported on galvanised steel legs and sturdy hopper support rings. Hopper bottom design ensures self- emptying discharge, without any of the hassles of discharge augers and internal sweep augers. Hopper bottom silos provide the lowest on-going operating and cleaning costs, and freedom from cross-contamination.

Quality and Strength - BODA grain silos are fabricated from high tensile galvanised steel coil, corrugated 80 mm x 14 mm low profile to minimise grain hang-up, and in a choice of 275 or 350 gram/m² galvanising to ensure years of trouble-free service. Silo walls incorporate heavy-weight, galvanised vertical stiffeners to transfer vertical loads to the silo foundations, and the roof includes a sturdy internal support structure for greater strength. Shipping and Installation - All silos are supplied in kit form, packed in shipping containers (2 x 250 t silos per 20’ container; 1 x 500 t silos per 20’ container; 1 x 1,000 t silo per 2 x 20’ containers), and most popular sizes can typically be erected in 5 - 10 days. We can provide a supervisor to assist your own installation workers, or we can take care of the installation for you.
